A TOP chef has been showing off his culinary skills at a food and drink festival.
Simon Bradley, head chef at East Lodge Hotel, in Rowsley, appeared at the Visit Peak District and Derbyshire Conference.
Held at the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton, the annual conference hosted 60 stalls giving visitors the chance to sample the best of what the Peak District has to offer.
Simon was given just half–an–hour to prepare a two–course meal that was be ‘fit for a Duke’ – or more specifically, the Duke of Devonshire, using as much local and seasonal food as possible.
“Being asked to create a two course meal for the Duke of Devonshire as part of the conference was quite an honour,” he said.
