Butlin's announces re-opening date for all of its UK holiday resorts
Butlin’s has announced it will re-open all its UK holiday camps later this month.
The firm was forced to shut its Skegness, Bognor Regis and Minehead resorts in March.
A spokesman said: “We’re bursting with excitement to let you know we’re opening our three resorts on Friday, 24 July!
“As you know we’ve been waiting on government clarification around the opening of our pools and live entertainment. We know how important these are to your Butlin’s experience, and we didn’t want to open until we could give you a summer like no other.
“We’re so happy to announce today that our fabulous pools will be open for your break, so it’s time to grab those goggles and swim ‘til you're wrinkly!
“We know you come to Butlin’s to enjoy our undisputed entertainment and our team have been working hard to bring you a jam-packed schedule.
“We’ll be constructing new, outdoor stages and the stars are rehearsing and gearing up for a summer festival of live music and dance! There is also our open-air circus arena throughout the summer. If the weather’s not on our side, we’ve turned our indoor venues into cinema-style theatres to showcase a range of pre-recorded, exclusive entertainment from our most popular acts including Diversity and Rak-Su, the pantomime and Paddington.”
“We know things will feel a little different, and we know many of you have been looking forward to your breaks with us, so we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to ensure you and your family have the best time this summer.”
