A SWANWICK family are to host a charity night in aid of a Nottingham City Hospital leukaemia ward that has helped save a young woman’s life.
Kerry Noble, 22, of New Street, Swanwick, is now in remission following a long battle with acute myeloid leukeamia.
To say thanks the Noble family are now running a night of live music, raffles and tombolas at the Out of Town pub on Butterley hill in Ripley on Monday, March 12, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 for the night which will feature comedy-skiffle band Kick and Rush at the top of the bill. Monies raised will go to Nottingham City’s Fletcher ward, as well as the charity Clic Sargent.
