The charity is asking people if they can help make a difference to the lives of people with terminal illness.

A spokesperson for Helen’s Trust said: “When you volunteer at Helen’s Trust, you are helping us support more people with terminal illness at home. Your time is just as valuable to us a financial donation.

“There are lots of different opportunities on offer: organise fundraisers in your area; help out occasionally at events such as our 10k or Pop Up Boutique; help us in the office with administration; or, help by taking charge of a collection box area.

“Our volunteer recruitment drive will culminate with an open office during National Volunteer Week 3rd-7th June.

“So come along and have a cup of tea and a chat and see how you can help us. ”
