Crowds flocked to Chesterfield canal festival for a packed programme of fun at the weekend (June 29 and 30).
A host of activities took place at Staveley Town Basin including boat trips, live music and entertainment.
Eight band performed in the marquee and dance troupes and the Babbling Vagabonds storytellers were also on hand to entertain the crowds.
Other attractions included canoeing, zorbing, a miniature train ride and the Raptor Foundation flying Birds of Prey.
Children’s rides (including bungee trampolines), a huge range of stalls, seven different caterers plus a real le bar were also on offer.
Chesterfield Canal Development Manager was also on hand to explain the next phases of restoration and hold Question and Answer sessions.
