Chesterfield preview for new film about Tony Benn
Former Chesterfield MP Tony Benn’s achievements as a political firebrand, prolific diarist, charismatic anti-war campaigner and family man will be shown on the silver screen this week.
Tony participated extensively in the making of new film Will and Testament, which will be shown at the Winding Wheel, Chesterfield, on Tuesday, September 9, at 7.30pm, ahead of its main cinema release.
The screening will be followed by a question and answer session featuring Ruth Winstone (editor of Tony Benn’s published diaries), Michael Miles (cinematographer) and Toby Perkins, Chesterfield’s MP.
