Choir hit the right note for children's charity

Charity Children First Derby was given a £1,000 cash boost after a concert was held featuring the Dalesmen Male Voice Choir.

The evening was compered by BBC East Midland’s Today reporter James Roberson, also one of the choir’s patrons.

The Dalesmen is one of the largest male voice choirs in the East Midlands. The group practice at the Strutts Centre in Belper, on Monday evenings from 7.15pm.
