A climber was injured after a fall at Pic Tor at the weekend.
Derby Mountain Rescue Team were called to rescue a man who had fallen while climbing at around 7.30pm on Sunday, May 8.
The 29-year-old is believed to have fallen about six metres while climbing a rock face by the riverside path.
He suffered a broken wrist and pelvis in the fall.
Twenty three members of the mountain rescue team attended the incident along with an air ambulance, ambulance crews and police.
Ambulance crews provided initial treatment for the man, who was then flown to North Staffs hospital in Stoke for further treatment.
The A6 was closed by police while the helicopter took off from a nearby car park.
