Community stalwart passes away suddenly
Family and friends are saying ‘farewell’ to a respected member of the Bakewell community after he died suddenly. Former bank manager Colin Groves passed away on February 24.
His funeral will be held at 2.30pm on March 14 at St Anne’s Church, Baslow.
Colin was a member of the National Farmers Union, treasurer for the Bakewell Show committee and had a year as president of the Bakewell Rotary Club.
