Cops launch investigation after a dead body has been found in Chesterfield
The body was discovered by a member of the public about 9.30am, today, Friday, June 6, on a path near Gorse Valley Road, Hasland, and Derbyshire Constabulary was called out.
Police revealed that the body was that of a male adult and they are endeavouring to contact relatives to confirm his identity.

Hide AdA police spokesman said: “A body has been found on a path near a dual carriageway but there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances involved.”.
Police added that the area concerned was temporarily closed off during investigations and was re-opened to the public about 12.40pm, today, June 6.
