Eyam Hall will be hosting a Volunteering Information Day On Saturday, August 1, noon-4pm to offer the chance to discover the many varied proejcts that volunteers can be involved with in every aspect of the running the beautiful Jacobean house and garden. Whether leading tours, administration, running weddings, managing the bookshop, there are roles to suit everyone, whether you’re chatty and friendly, or really want to take overship of a project.
Marion Edge, Visitor Experience Volunteer says: “I love coming to Eyam Hall and meeting all the people, both working with the other volunteers and also talking to visitors. I enjoy being able to share some of the stories and ensure that visitors get the most from their visit.”
Linda Purdy, Administrative Volunteer says: “Working with the team at Eyam is great fun; and I enjoy being able to use my skills to really benefit the National Trust. As it is a small and friendly team I get the opportunity to be really involved, and I know that the work I do really makes a difference.”
