Council complaints have fallen

The number of complaints dealt with by Derbyshire County Council has fallen.

The authority handled 782 complaints in 2012/13 compared to 830 the previous year, a drop of six per cent.

The biggest reduction was in the children and younger adults’ service – down 34 per cent. Nineteen per cent of complaints were upheld, 50 per cent weren’t and 22 per cent were partially upheld.
