Fire crews were in attendance all night at a fire in an historic mill.
Two crews from Matlock, one from Wirksworth and one from Bakewell were called to the east block of Johnsons Mill, in Ladygrove Road, Two Dales, at 9.33pm on Tuesday.
An aerial ladder platform from Chesterfield was also in attendance.
The fire had started on the ground floor of the three storey stone building, which measures approximately 40 metres by 60 metres.
Firefighters used main jets, breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to tackle the blaze.
One member of the public was treated for burns.
A crew stayed at the scene of the fire all night damping it down.
Fire officers continued to check the scene on Wednesday to ensure the blaze it fully extinguished.
A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said: “Businesses at the site include a car sprayer, mechanics and a picture framer and the blaze is believed to have been started in one of the units on the ground floor.
“The fire spread to the second floor and firefighters gained access by internal stairs to fight the fire with water jets.”
