Cigarettes stolen after break-in at Darley Dale newsagents

Police are appealing for information after a quantity of cigarettes were stolen from a newsagents in Darley Dale.

The break-in occurred at around 11.10pm on Wednesday November 7 when three padlocks were broken at Two Dales News on Station Road. Access was gained through the front door, activating the burglar alarm.

Officers are keen to speak to someone who was seen getting into a pick-up type vehicle parked on Station Road at the time; this person is not thought to be connected to the incident.
