A spokesman for the force said: “There was lots of broken glass, rubbish and pieces of wood nailed together. It’s not an ideal location to hang about in after dark especially as the mud under foot was slippy.”
The plastic sheets have been taken down from the site near the Helicopter Park, Hurst Farm, and Derbyshire Dales District Council will complete the clean-up.
