‘Missing’ girl seen at Derbyshire beauty spot found at home with family

The girl, who was thought to be around four or five years old, was assumed to be missing after she was seen earlier today near High Tor in Matlock.

However, police now say the girl wasn’t in fact lost and is actually safe and well at home with her family.

Officers said they wanted to thank everyone who had shared their appeal.
