Police appeal after 'high-value' bikes swiped in Derbyshire burglary

Police are appealing for help after two ‘high-value’ mountain bikes were swiped by burglars in a Derbyshire village.

The incident took place sometime between 9.30-10.30pm on Sunday, March 21, on Saltergate Lane, Bamford.

The owners of the property reported hearing a loud noise coming from their garage.

They saw a white male dressed all in black, who then ran off after being seen.

The first bike is described as a black Hope HB160 and the second bike is a maroon coloured Santa Cruz with the word ‘Juliana’ in blue on the cross bar.
