Police invite Tideswell and Baslow residents to share concerns

Residents in Tideswell and Baslow are being invited to discuss local issues and pick up discounted security items.

PCSO Ian Phipps from the Tideswell Safer Neighbourhood Team will be hosting two surgeries to meet local residents and offer crime prevention advice.

He will also be on hand to speak to people about improving their personal, home and vehicle security to help to further protect themselves from criminals, with discounted items on offer including shed alarms, timers and door chimes.

The events will take place on: Tuesday, February 24 in the Community Room above Co-op store in Tideswell between 6.30pm and 8.30pm; Tuesday, March 3 at Baslow Sports Field Pavilion between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

PCSO Phipps said: “I am urging local residents to drop in to these events to chat in a relaxed and informal environment about their concerns. I will be able to offer advice and support and everyone is welcome to attend.”
