Police are investigating an incident in which a woman was injured after being allegedly struck by a car on a Chesterfield street.

Officers were called to reports that a woman had been struck by a vehicle in Derby Road, Chesterfield, at around 6.45pm on Wednesday, December 23.

The woman, 26, suffered minor injuries in the incident and a 27-year-old man from Chesterfield has been arrested and released on police bail.
