Prolific Chesterfield shoplifter jailed again

A prolific thief has been sentenced to 44 weeks imprisonment for shoplifting in Chesterfield town centre.

Andrew Probert has been jailed for shop thefts in Chesterfield town centre.

Probert 37, ppeared a Chesterfield Magistrate's Court charged with seven offences between 8 August and 16 September. The court heard six of the offences were committed at Boots in Low Pavement and one at the Lloyds Pharmacy in Holme Hall.

He was sentenced to 44 weeks in prison.

Probert was jailed for a string of similar thefts in 2018.
