Derbyshire's Roads Policing Unit have to deal with a wide range of incidents on our county's roads.

1. Broken down and no insurance
Avensis on the A38 - broken down and no insurance. #OpDriveInsured
A38. Average speed over 1.5 miles 108mph, top speed 120mph. If he'd looked in his mirror he'd see us in our fully marked car. Which is unfortunate given he was in possession of cocaine and a knuckleduster. Arrested. #Fatal4 #Crime
A50 J3 to J4. BMW driver runs out of fuel, stops in a live lane on this unlit national speed limit dual carriageway, locks it up and walks home. No call to us. Police recovery arranged and ticket issued to driver. #Seriously
