Cromford drugs warrant leads to arrest

A 27–year–old man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs following a warrant at a flat in Cromford.

The local Safer Neighbourhood team and task force officers carried out the warrant at a flat in St Mark’s Close on Thursday.

A wallet containing suspected heroin was found in the garden and the man was arrested.

He has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

The police action was supported by Dales Housing, which owns the flats.
