Derbyshire County Council is temporarily closing a Dales road.
The B5057 Sydnope Hill in Two Dales will be shut between 9.30am and 4pm from Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 10 so resurfacing work can be carried out between Ladygrove Road and Back Lane.
A council spokesman said: “Diversions will be in place. People travelling from Darley Dale to Chesterfield will need to travel to Matlock then to Chesterfield, rather than using Sydnope Hill.
“Those driving the other way, from Chesterfield to Darley Dale, will be diverted from the junction with Flash Lane, along Jaggers Lane, Wirestone Lane and then the A632 Chesterfield Road.”
