Dates set for next crime prevention visits in the Derbyshire Dales

Officers from Hathersage Safer Neighbourhood Team will be heading out in the mobile police station armed with a range of crime prevention items.

The team will be offering people shed alarms, indoor and outdoor light bulbs, timer switches and door chimes as part of the ongoing Operation Illuminate.

They will be visiting villages across the Hathersage and Bradwell area on the following dates:

Tuesday, June 4: Grindleford, in the village hall car park from 5pm to 7pm;

Wednesday, June 5: Calver Village Hall car park from 5pm to 7pm;

Friday, June 7: Stoney Middleton, from 10am to 1pm, and Curbar, 1pm to 3pm;

Tuesday, June 11: Eyam, at The Square or Hawkhill Road car park, from 5pm to 7pm;

Wednesday, June 12: Bradwell police station, 5pm to 7pm.

Operation Illuminate is led by Derbyshire police and Derbyshire Dales District Council, and aims to help people protect their homes from burglars with the crime prevention kit.
