Deceased driver identified after Ambergate road crash
A motorist who died following a three-vehicle collision in Ambergate has been identified.
Keith Wint, 38, of Ilkeston was driving a Saab when it was involved in a collision with a Honda and heavy goods vehicle on the A6 road at 4.40pm, on Wednesday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A large stretch of the A6 between Ambergate and Cromford was closed for several hours while an investigation into the crash was launched. The road was reopened at about 11.20pm.
Police are appealing for witnesses to call Derbyshire Constabulary on 101, quoting incident 492 of March 18.
