DERBYSHIRE: Businesses invited to enterprise meetings
The Local Enterprise Partnership for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire is hitting the road during March to meet with businesses and other partners at a series of breakfast briefings.
Breakfast events will give local firms and partner organisations the chance to find out more about the LEP, its activities to date and its future plans, as well as feeding in their views and identifying any key priorities or issues which may influence the LEP’s Growth Plan, investment initiatives, skills strategy and its work on business regulation.

D2N2 Chairman Peter Richardson said: “These are exciting times for D2N2, with the Government promising to give Local Enterprise Partnerships greater powers, influence and responsibilities to enable them to channel central funding and facilitate business and economic growth.
“This series of breakfast briefings will give local businesses and partners the opportunity to find out more about D2N2 and its plans for the future and I would urge all businesses who want to have their say about the support they need to grow to book on to one of these events.”
D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership was established in December 2010 to drive economic growth, job creation and prosperity across Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
