Lea Primary School has been awarded the cash from Sport England’s £18million National Lottery funded Primary School Facilities Fund, which is helping schools provide outdoor multi-activity play areas across the country.

The investment is designed to support those schools which are in greatest need of facility improvements and will benefit both pupils at the school and the local community. Lea Primary School will use the money to develop a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) – an enclosed pitch upon which a variety of sports and games can be played.
