Derbyshire children's choir in live Britain's Got Talent semi-final
Perfect Pitch wowed the judges back in May with their cover of Jungle Book’s I Wanna Be Like You and Bare Necessities and on Friday the children aged between eight and 14 will be singing for a spot in the final and a chance to perform at the Royal Variety Show.
Choir director, Emma Hopkins, from Tideswell said: “When we auditioned I don’t think the children realised just how big this was, or how close they would be do the judges and they were completely star-struck with Ant and Dec.

The former West End star said: “We are flying the flag for Derbyshire really looking forward to the live show on Friday.
“We are different from other choirs as we are not attached to a school and we only practise one hour a week but everyone works so hard.
“A choir has never won the show before and I think we have got what it takes to go all the way. We would love to win but more importantly I want just them to enjoy the moment and remember it forever.”
Perfect Pitch will be on ITV Firday from 7.30pm.
