Derbyshire hotel among the best in the UK

Crich Lane Farm, in Moorwood Moor Lane, Alfreton, won praise in the Countryside Hotel category at LateRoom.com’s prestigious Simply the Guest Awards.

The hotel was among 23 others in different categories which achieved the highest review scores left by customers booking through the LateRooms.com website.

Comedian and TV star Alex Brooker, who hosted the ceremony in London, said: “These awards are making hotel choices easier by highlighting – and rewarding – premises worldwide that achieve the best guest reviews.

Fourteen out of the 23 category winners this year were in the north of the UK.

The awards have been running for three years.
