Tots can find out where birds go during the winter at a special event.
Derbyshire Wildlife Trust’s Nature Tots club for pre-school children will learn about bird migration at its next get-together.
The event, which will take place at the Whistlestop Centre at Matlock Bath between 10am and 11.30am on Monday, December 15, will reveal where many of our birds go this winter and advise how to help those that have stayed behind to face the cold.
A spokesman for Derbyshire Wildlife Trust said: “We always welcome new adventurers so if your child has not been before, this meeting will be a great introduction to the Nature Tots group.”
For more information about the event, call Derbyshire Wildlife Trust on 01773 881188 during normal office hours.
