Community NHS staff nominated for going the extra mile for their patients will be given red carpet treatment at a glittering ceremony to recognise their dedication this Thursday.
The Extra Mile Awards – the first such black-tie awards hosted by Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust – will be held at Derby’s Roundhouse.
Tracy Allen, chief executive of Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust, said: “I’m delighted to be able to announce our first Extra Mile Awards. We have been overwhelmed by the quality and volume of nominations received. The awards are open to all staff and will recognise those who inspire others and deliver beyond expectations in all sorts of different ways.”
Teams and individuals who have been nominated by their colleagues for going the extra mile are being invited to enjoy an evening of VIP treatment which will also put the spotlight on their achievements, innovations and successes across Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust.
