Derbyshire: Roadworks cause stop-start traffic on A38

Commuters are facing stop-start traffic on the southbound carriageway of the A38 this morning.

The congestion due to roadworks is between the A6 Duffield Road, Derby and the A52 Ashbourne Road, Derby.

Elsewhere, ongoing drainage works on the A517 Ashbourne Road in Turnditch means the road is closed at the Hagg Lane junction.

The A6187 Main Road in Hathersage is closed in both directions between the Crossland Road junction and the Jagger’s Lane junction because of water main work.

There are temporary traffic lights on Makeney Road in Duffield at the Church Drive junction.

There are temporary traffic lights on the A61 Derby Road in Wingerworth between the Longedge Lane junction and the Nottingham Drive junction.

Gas main work is taking place on the A515 in Monyash between The Rake junction and the B5055 Tagg Lane junction.
