DERBYSHIRE: Travel update

On the M1 southbound between junctions J29 and J28, minor delays can be expected at peak times due to roadworks closing one lane, between 10pm and 6am, until March 9.

On the M1 northbound between junctions J28 and J29, minor delays can also be expected at peak times due to roadworks closing one lane, between 10pm and 6am, until March 9.

On the M1 northbound between junctions J29A and J30, minor delays can be expected at peak times due to roadworks, between 9pm and 6am, until March 2.

For those travelling further-a-field, the M1 in Nottinghamshire will be affected southbound today between the A610, at Nottingham, near junction 26, and the A52, at Nottingham, near junction 25 because of debris on the road. Drivers are advised to approach with care and matrix signs have been set up at 50mph.

There are also delays around the A635 Stamford Street Stalybridge, westbound at B6176 Rassbottom Street traffic lights due to early heavy traffic.
