The Met Office has forecast a generally bright day with a little rain for Derbyshire and the East Midlands today, Monday, March 23.
After a bright start in places cloud will thicken, according to the Met Office, with the odd spot of light rain at times.
Brighter conditions will be moving into the north possibly accompanied by the odd shower.
By tonight it is expected to be mostly clear with a frost in places with a little more cloud possibly developing towards the end of the night, perhaps with an isolated wintry shower over the Derbyshire hills.
Temperatures may reach as high as ten degrees centigrade and as low as two degrees centigrade throughout the day, according the Met Office.
