A bus company is offering discounted bus travel for people over 55.
Trent Barton is offering cheap fares for people aged 55 and over with its new club55 scheme.
Commercial Director Alex Hornby said: “We know that a lot of people take early retirement, but they’ve often a long wait before they get help with the cost of getting out and about on public transport.
“Older people who are still in work are also feeling the pinch as inflation takes its toll but thanks to the new club55 scheme they can enjoy a great day out in Derbyshire and Nottingham without breaking the bank.”
To join club55, customers can complete an application form online, or visit Derby and Nottingham bus stations. Once they have a club55 pass they are entitled to unlimited travel on the trent barton network after 9am for just £3.50, or unlimited travel any time for £7.
