Drivers urged to take extra care on icy roads

Drivers are being urged to take extra care on the roads this morning amid icy conditions.

A number of routes across Derbyshire are covered in black ice after near-freezing temperatures overnight.

There are hazardous driving conditions on the A619 Chesterfield Road in both directions in Barlborough between the New Road junction and the B6043 junction because of ice.
