Dry start to the day with sunny spells
The Met Office is forecasting a dry start to the day today, Thursday April 2, for Derbyshire and the East Midlands with some sunny spells.
However, sunshine will become increasingly hazy in the afternoon as cloud increases from the west. The maximum temperature will be ten degrees centigrade.
Tonight, there will be a dry start to the evening but thickening cloud and outbreaks of rain will spread from the west overnight, with some fog on the hills by morning. The minimum temperature will be four degrees centigrade.
