CLASS ACT: Meet the pupils from Rowsley C of E Primary

This week, The Mercury spotlight on local schools falls on Rowsley C of E Primary.

It was built in 1840 by the Duke of Rutland and was given voluntary controlled status in 1953.

A Church of England School , it has a strong Christian ethos which underpins the caring, nurturing family atmosphere in the school.
