Youlgrave All Saints’ C of E Primary School had a smashing time when they held a Cream Tea Concert to celebrate 200 years of Church of England Schools.
The playground was decorated with red, white and blue bunting, tables were covered with red, white and blue cloths and the whole community was invited to share the talents of the school.
There was a variety of talent on show including dancing, pianists, violinists, brass musicians, guitarists, singing, recorder groups and poetry recitals.
While the performance took place the School Association served cream teas and held a raffle.
Headteacher Mrs Jackson said: “We had a wonderfully sunny afternoon with lots of visitors. The children were incredible and showed off their talents brilliantly, we really are a small school with big ideas.”
The school was raising funds for schools in India supported by The Diocese of Derby.
