It’s a common misconception that hair and fingernails keep growing after someone dies. Not true- but skin does shrink, making them look longer and giving rise to the theory.

There’s no such thing as the five second rule if you drop your food on the floor and pick it up to eat - germs can pass onto it straight away within seconds.
