POlice are urging people to come forward with information after vandals attacked an educational exhibit.
At some time between Friday evening and Monday afternoon the National Stone Centre, in Porter Lane, Middleton, was broken into and a dry stone wall display pushed over.
The wall was used by the centre as an education tool for children, demonstrating to them different types of dry stone walling over the centuries.
Derbyshire Police is now looking for information in relation to an offence of criminal damage to property.
Anyone who can help is urged to contact the police on the new non–emergency number, 101, quoting crime reference 22368/12.
