Extensive damage caused by Kirk Ireton chip pan fire
A chip pan fire caused extensive damage to a kitchen today.
Firefighters from Wirksworth and Matlock attended the fire at a home in Tinkerley Lane, Kirk Ireton, at 2.51pm today (Saturday, February 14).
The fire was out on arrival and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet and thermal imaging camera to check the property.
They left at around 4pm.
