Matlock Park Bowls Club Ladies raised more than £300 at a charity day last month.
The club held a competition in aid of breast cancer and had visitors attending from clubs from Derby and Chesterfield.
The competition was held at the green in Hall Leys Park on a sunny warm day.
During a long day of bowling the ladies had a raffle and collection boxes along with a very generous sponsorship by Sandra Vardy raising a total of £355 for breast cancer.
The final was an all family affair between mother and daughter Leslie Taylor and Amanda Ward with Amanda taking the trophy.
Club treasurer Ken Gray said: “We would like to thank all the Matlock shops, club members and members from other clubs who donated over 25 raffle prizes.
“This completes a month when the club has donated over £1000 to cancer charities.”
