A CRICH dinner lady is retiring after 26 years.
A service was held for Margaret Bradley, 67, who began work at Crich Infants School in 1985.
Headteacher Julie Kirk said: “Margaret is dedicated to her job. She is a good team player and she will turn her hand to anything that needs to be done. As senior mid-day supervisor she has helped to give out numerous school lunches, she has taught many children how to use their knife and fork; she has accompanied lots of Crich children on school trips to the zoo or to the theatre and she has bathed lots of grazed and bruised knees! Margaret is a valued member of our school team and we wish her a happy retirement and thank her for the contribution she has made to the lives of the children of Crich.”
