Firefighters free trapped horse
Firefighters were called into action yesterday (Wednesday) to free a trapped horse.
Crews from Chesterfield and Matlock arrived at the incident at 8.30pm and discovered the animal was trapped by its feet in a five-bar metal gate.
Firefighters arranged arrival of a vet before freeing the animal with hydraulic cutting equipment.
The animal had been cut free before 9.23pm.
