Potential first aiders are being invited to Rowsley’s Peak Village outlet Shopping Centre where St John Ambulance will be recruiting interested shoppers for free two-hour life support training courses.
As part of their Derbyshire Save a Life Scheme campaign, it is aimed at equipping people with life-saving knowledge.
There will also be a clothing sale which is hoped will raise money to buy a life-saving defibrillator, to be used locally.
Held over February 18 and 19, Terrence Morgan of Peak Village. “The scheme is a fantastic, pioneering programme and we’re lucky to have it.”
