Fish and chip fire on Baslow campsite
Firefighters from Bakewell were called into action after fish and chip van caught fire on a public campsite.
At 6.25pm on Friday, June 28, crews were called to the fire on Chatsworth Park Campsite, in Baslow.
Upon arrival firefighters confirmed the van was “well alight” and used two hose-reel jets to extinguish the blaze.
The fire was out by 7.43pm and crews left the scene at 8.10pm.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
