Flying that flag for the Commonwealth

Council chiefs have been flying the flag for the Commonwealth this week.

Derbyshire Dales District Council flew one of 500 Commonwealth Flags from across the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Isle of Man at Matlock Town Hall on Monday as part of Commonwealth Day celebrations.

The flag was flown at 10am after the Commonwealth affirmation was given by the Chairman of the District of the Derbyshire Dales Councillor Peter Slack.
