Follow the trail

CHILDREN in Darley Dale will soon have a chance to follow a fluffy festive trail in a bid to win prizes.

The Nativity Sheep Trail is being held for one week from Saturday, December 8, and challengers must search for knitted sheep in shops across town.

There are ten ‘missing sheep’ to find and a leaflet is available that lists potential shops they could be hiding in.

The leaflet can be obtained from Forest Garden Centre, Jayne A Hibbard pharmacy and Darley Dale Post Office.

Organiser David Brown said: “The whole event should be a lot of fun and there’s some great prizes for people to win.

“But I’d also like to say a big thank you to the ladies of Underhall for knitting the sheep.”
