Fundraisers getting ready for Matlock’s Boxing Day Raft Race
Fundraisers are preparing weird and wonderful crafts to carry them in the icy waters of the Derwent for this year’s Boxing Day Raft Race.
The race, organised by the Derbyshire Association of Sub–Aqua Clubs, will start at 10am near Cawdor Quarry, Matlock.
It finishes at Cromford Meadows at a time that is dependant upon the speed of the water.
